Join us for the 8th Annual Gastrau’s Golf Center Winter League! With our newly renovated bays, this year’s league will be our biggest yet, giving you more room and a better experience at every bay.

 

HOW TO SIGN UP

Only one person needs to sign up per team. Each team can only sign up for ONE time slot to give everyone an opportunity to play. Please only sign up once you have a partner locked in.

Registration opens Tuesday, September 8th at 7:00 PM on our online store. That is linked above and spots will be available then to sign up. Each night will say 'Sold Out' until registration opens. Spots may fill quickly, so make sure to sign up right away if you want to play!

HOW THE LEAGUE WORKS​

The Winter League is designed to help keep your game in shape all winter long while having some fun along the way!

Using Toptracer technology, two-person teams compete weekly in a 9-hole, best-ball match play format. The league is handicap-based, meaning golfers of all skill levels have a chance to win on any given week. There will be two teams (four players) per bay. 

Every week brings a new course and a new opponent, keeping things fresh and competitive throughout the season!

 

LEAGUE TIMES

Monday Night League - 7:00 PM Start

Tuesday Night League - 7:00 PM Start

Wednesday Night League - 7:00 PM Start

 

Each league night will have up to 40 teams. During the regular season, league matches must be played during your scheduled time slot, and we will not allow makeups outside of that time. However, subs are allowed if you can’t make your scheduled match. During the playoffs there are no subs allowed. 

 

WEEKLY GAMES & PRIZES

In addition to your weekly 9-hole match, there will be mini-games to win prizes such as buckets of balls, clubs, and more!

At the end of the regular season, the top 3 teams will receive a GGC gift card. 

During the playoffs, the final 4 teams will receive a cash payout. 

 

WEATHER / CANCELLATIONS

Our newly renovated bays and heaters will keep you comfortable in almost any winter conditions! If Mother Nature really turns up the cold and we reach those negative, teeth-chattering temperatures, we’ll cancel that week.

During the regular season, if a week is canceled due to weather, there will be no makeup for that week. Instead, all golfers will receive a voucher for a bucket of balls as compensation. During the playoffs, if a week is canceled due to weather, that week will be rescheduled to the following. 

 

LEAGUE COST

The cost is $190 per golfer ($380 per team) for the regular season. This includes the following:

• All golf balls needed for the 10 regular-season rounds

• Money towards the prize pool of weekly prizes, end of season prizes, and playoff winnings.

Since not everyone makes it to the playoffs, it will be $12 per golfer per week, depending on how far you advance in the playoffs.
